Ultrasonic Testing - Level I & II

Course Duration: 10 days

Ultrasonic Testing is the process of transmitting high-frequency sound waves into a material in order to detect changes in the material’s properties.

Ultrasonic Testing uses sound waves to detect defects or flaws inside material.

These sound waves travel through the material with some energy loss (attenuation) and are reflected and refracted at interfaces. The echoes arethen analysed to define and locate discontinuities.

It is used in many industries including steel, Stainless Steel and aluminium, aerospace, automobiles and others.

Ultrasonic Testing – Level I & II, NDT training course is established to meet the requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A and customer specific document for training and certification.
